City merchants piggyback on visitors to new museum

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/RYAN MCGEENEY --01-13-2012-- Jose Rico, a waiter at the Table Mesa Bistro in downtown Bentonville, carriesan order from the kitchen during a Friday lunch-hour rush. Table Mesa is one of several independent restaurants that saw a surge in business when the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art opened nearby in November.
Carl Garrett was talking one day recently with a couple eating at one of his two restaurants in downtown Bentonville.
