Fayetteville officer under investigation resigns

A former Fayetteville police corporal submitted his resignation Tuesday, nearly a week after he reportedly forced his way into a man’s home and threatened him with a knife and a gun. Terry Davis, 46, of Elkins faces felony charges of first-degree battery and aggravated assault. He was placed on paid administrative leave after his arrest and the Fayetteville Police Department initiated an internal investigation.

from what I have been reading on this case it sounds like if the X- wife would have been there that a double murder and a suicide could have easily have taken place due to this mans mental status at the time. Thank God that didn't take place.
