Board Approves Charter For School

Plans will move forward to implement a new instructional model at Lincoln High School after the Arkansas State Board of Education granted the district a charter for the new program on Monday.

Bomb Scare At Bank

Betty Davis, 73, is led out of the Arvest Bank on Monday on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fayetteville after the police and bomb squad were called to the bank after the woman reported she had been kidnapped and a bomb had been strapped to her ankle.
