Posted: January 9, 2012 at 5:51 a.m.
A cyclist rides Friday past a kiosk featuring art by Holt Middle School students in Gordon Long Park in Fayetteville.
Runners and walkers on the Frisco Trail near the end of Prospect Street or in Gordon Long Park can get a sampling of budding local artists if they slow down for a minute or two.
AT A GLANCE
Art Locations
There are two kiosks where student art work is displayed. One is on Scull Creek Trail in Gordon Long Park on Gregg Street. The other is on the Frisco Trail at the dead end of Prospect Street, near Wilson Park. The displays are changed about every six weeks. Public, private and parochial schools as well as the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club and the Yvonne Richardson Center are in the rotation.
