Tyson Adds 60 Jobs At Tortilla Plant

Fayetteville celebrates 60 manufacturing jobs being created by Tyson Foods in concert with local and state officials on a mission to improve the regional economy.
At A Glance
Tyson’s State Incentive Package
• 1 percent income tax credit on payroll taxes for new, full-time jobs created — good for five years.
• 7 percent credit against sales and use tax for capital expenditures valued at $5 million and higher. This credit is reserved for plant equipment for new construction, expansion or modernization.
• $500,000 community block development grant, which is federal money given at the state’s discretion.
