So, a 37-year old man couldn't deduce that the young woman was younger than what she'd claimed by seeing her? Her picture in the newspaper looked like a 16 y/o to me. He had to proceed to "making out" to learn this?

And, exactly how would he have learned her age whilst in the midst of "making out"? And, is it appropriate to "violently shove her" into the water when he learns it?

And how does her body show up in a barrel, and buried to boot, on *his* property? Oh, let's see, the Gods are out to get him. Yeah. Right.

This young woman's death is a tragedy. But not the first one, in this case. The first one is the fact that this man got only 10 years the first time he was convicted of brutal beating and sexual offense, and that he is out on the streets...probably so we can incarcerate some more marijuana smokers. I read last week about an 18 y/o who received *40 years* for "fondling" a 12 y/o. Does this seem like fair and balanced judgement, that Lloyd Jones got only 10 years for sexual abuse and violent beating and that he is back on the street?

Our justice systems is totally unjust, IMO. I'm tired of making excuses for them. It's time for reform, NOW.
