Killer given life term for Cabot businessman’s death

David Derreberry read a short apology to Billy Joe Pipkin’s family just before he was sentenced to life without parole for killing the Cabot pawnshop owner last April, Prosecuting Attorney Chuck Graham said Wednesday.
