FAYETTEVILLE — Jackson W. Horton, 68, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born Sept. 3, 1943, in Portageville, Mo., the son of Burtis Delton and Cloa Mae Jackson Horton.

He attended Center Point Church of God and was a former member of the Lions Club.

Survivors are his wife, Helen L. Horton of the home; one son, Jackson Horton II and wife, Peggy, of Fayetteville; one daughter, Tracie Kettner of Fayetteville; two sisters, Frances Watts of Westville, Okla., and Alice Deese of Prairie Grove.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Beard’s Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Online condolences: www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
