True conservative, Romney says at conference

Mitt Romney told the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington on Friday that he “fought against long odds in a deep-blue state” as a conservative governor of Massachusetts.
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told party activists Friday that he was a “severely conservative” governor who would govern that way if he won the White House.
