Standoff Ends With Arrest

A Washington County Sheriff’s Office patrol car blocks a portion of Smokey Lane near Greenland on Thursday as emergency personnel were called about a man barricading himself in his home.
Law enforcement officers used tear gas to force an armed man from his home Thursday after a standoff that lasted more than seven hours.
