Carr Sentenced To 60 Years In Prison

A Garfield man will serve at least the next four decades in prison for raping a young girl.

Thomas Carr was ordered not to have contact with the girl, and can’t have any unsupervised contact with any child. He will be required to register as a sex offender, and must complete the prison’s sex offender treatment program. Carr received 320 days of jail credit for the time he spent in the Benton County Jail awaiting his trial. He must also must pay $2,120 in court costs.
