Man dies after seizures during book-in process, police say

LITTLE ROCK A man died after having seizures while he was completing his book-in process, Little Rock police said.
Michael Hammond, 40, was arrested around 11 p.m. Friday night on charges that included fleeing and possession of firearms.
A little before 3 a.m. Saturday, Hammond began experiencing seizures. Staff called for emergency medical services.
Hammond was taken to UAMS where he was declared dead.
His body will be taken in for autopsy.
