1 dies in Arkansas house fire

— Investigators are looking into what caused a deadly house fire in Grant County.

Authorities were notified late Friday of the fire at a residence along Arkansas Highway 167 in Sheridan.

Firefighters heard someone inside the residence and were able to pull the person out, but the victim was declared dead at the scene.

The person’s name hasn’t been released.
