Center Gets Grant
WALMART FOUNDATION DONATES MONEY FOR PROGRAMS

The Walmart Foundation presented the center with a $250,000 check to support youth programs, the YOUth Center and the Summer Youth Academy.
A donation to the Jones Center from the Walmart Foundation will keep a summer program afloat.
AT A GLANCE
The Jones Center Summer Youth Academy
The Youth Academy for 9- to 17-year-olds will add a week and operate for seven weeks from June to August. Participants will increase from 750 to 900. It will run Tuesday through Friday. The cost is $60 per week, but full or partial grants are available based on financial need.

I hope the funds come in. We can't keep hoping for Wal Mart to be our local bail out benefactor.
