UA to propose $6 million land bid

The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville has agreed to purchase these two buildings owned by A.W. Realty, a subsidiary of Southwestern Energy, for $6 million. If the deal is approved, UA will use the complex for office space.

Officials at the University of Arkansas are seeking approval to spend $6 million to purchase buildings in north Fayetteville that would provide space for employees who either have been displaced by campus construction or whose jobs don’t have to be on campus.
