100 YEARS AGO Dec. 31, 1912 Mayor Taylor has been giving some of his time lately to the investigation of the best system of placing signs on street corners to designate the names of the streets. The old plan of the signs placed on telephone poles and on buildings at the street corners he considered too antiquated to continue.
