— The sharp shooting of Shiloh Christian’s Andrew Daniels turned the momentum in the Saints’ favor Friday against Greenwood.

Then Darian Harris put the game away for the Saints, who walked away with a 69-57 win in the semifinals of the Siloam Springs Holiday Invitational.

Daniels hit four 3-pointers in the first half and helped the Saints rally from a 27-15 deficit in the second quarter.

Harris then scored 17 of his 26 points in the second half.

“We had to speed the game up,” Shiloh Christian boys basketball coach Brent Hester. “Andrew Daniels was a big deal for us tonight. He hit some big shots in the second quarter. Then to have a guy like Harris to give it to and say go and finish it, that was big.”

Ryder Anderson added three 3-pointers on the night for the Saints (5-6) and scored nine points. Hunter Pauling also had nine.

Ethan Clark led Greenwood with 23 points. Greenwood (6-6), which already was playing with a thin bench, had two starters foul out.

“When we got in foul trouble, that was when the game changed,” Bulldogs coach Brian Martin said.

Shiloh Christian will play in the championship game at 7:45 p.m. today against the winner of Friday’s late game between Siloam Springs and Tahlequah. Greenwood will play the loser of that game in the third place game at 5:15 p.m.
