— BATTLE AT THE BRIER BOYS SEARCY 57, RUSSELLVILLE 50 Emaje Young accounted for 20 points and seven rebounds as the Lions (3-7) defeated the Cyclones. James Wade added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for Searcy.

COMMERCIAL BANK BOYS MARION 65, McGEHEE 54 Dereon Thomas scored 22 points as the Patriots defeated the Owls. Syndarian Spencer added 12 for Marion. McGehee was led by 20 points from Zach Ellis and 12 from Marcus Miller.

MONTICELLO 74, FORDYCE 43 Behind 15 points from both Torry Butler and Christian Roberson, the Billies knocked off the Redbugs. Rashad Allen led Fordyce with 17 points.

OTHER BOYS BENTONVILLE 59 ST. JOSEPH (MO.) LAFAYETTE 55 Nick Smith’s two free throws with 56.8 seconds left put Bentonville ahead to stay, and Austin Heard added three more to seal the Tigers’ quarterfinal victory over previously unbeaten St. Joseph (Mo.) Lafayette at the Neosho (Mo.) Holiday Classic. Bentonville (9-2) made 8 of 11 free throws while going the final six minutes without a field goal, which allowedLafayette (8-1) to a 55-54 lead on Jeff Leeson’s three-pointer with 2:01 remaining. Smith and Heard scored 21 points each to lead Bentonville, which led 43-30 with 2:27 left in the third quarter before Lafayette made its comeback attempt.

BATTLE AT THE BRIER GIRLS BENTON 60, GUY-PERKINS 50 Allison Reynolds scored 17 points as the Lady Panthers (8-3) posted a victory over the Lady Thunderbirds. Braylee Landreth added 12 points for Benton, which led 41-26 at the half.

COMMERCIAL BANK GIRLS DREW CENTRAL 59, DOLLARWAY 20 Kari Milton scored 16 points and Cierra Gardner 15 as the Lady Pirates routed the Lady Cardinals.

McGEHEE 56, MONTICELLO 41 Shakyla Bernard led the Lady Owls with 28 points in a victory over the Lady Billies. Raven Burks added 14 for McGehee. Dontazsha Brown scored 11 for Monticello.

SHERIDAN 52, DUMAS 46 Kadeisha Cooper’s 14 points helped carry the Lady Jackets over the Lady Bobcats. Bryanna Moltz added 12 for Sheridan. Whitney Henderson and Terlissia Bailey each scored 13 for Dumas.

WHITE HALL 49, STUTTGART 42 Jaelisa Brown scored 13 points as the Lady Bulldogs knocked off the Lady Ricebirds. Haley Wilkens added 10 points for the winners. Haley Johnson scored 12 and Tiffany Gibson 10 for Stuttgart.

FAIRVIEW CLASSIC GIRLS WARREN 52, MAGNOLIA 42 Shamiqua Pickett led the Lady Lumberjacks (5-3) with 20 points in a victory over the Lady Panthers (4-3). Chakendra Roberson added 14 for Warren. Curtisha Hamilton scored 16 to lead Magnolia.

OTHER GIRLS ARKADELPHIA 51, RISON 43 Kelsey Kobe led the Lady Badgers (6-8) with 19 points in a regular-season victory over the Lady Wildcats (2-3) in Arkadelphia. Ashley Whittle added 18 for Arkadelphia while Angelique Robinson scored 10. Chelsea Greene led Rison with 14 points.

BENTONVILLE 56, MCDONALD (MO.) COUNTY 14 Bentonville (11-0) forced McDonald County (1-8) into 34 turnovers and held it without a field goal for almost 18 minutes and to five baskets for the entire game at the Neosho (Mo.) Holiday Classic. Taylor Lee led Bentonville with 13 points and Kindal Coleman added 10 points.
