No classes, but few stay to keep lights on at UA

Answering calls doesn’t stop for the holidays

NWA Media/MICHAEL WOODS --12/27/2012-- The J. William Fulbright statue stands alone in the cold as icicles form on the Peace Fountain next to Old Main in the University of Arkansas campus Thursday morning. With most students and faculty home for the holidays the University is running on minimal staff during the winter break.

At first glance, the University of Arkansas campus may appear empty and lifeless during the winter break, but there’s activity behind several of the building’s brick and limestone facades.
