Elementary Kids Fit to be Tied

Ethan Bisbee, from front to back, Caden Morse, Dylan Rodles, Leonardo Ortiz, Jesus Nava, Christian Chilian, Jonathan Jimenez and Christian Duenas-Aguilar, Bayyari Elementary School students, walk back to their classroom Tuesday morning. The school has introduced dressing professionally with Ties on Tuesdays to encourage their students to think about their professional appearance.

Caden Morse doesn’t mind wearing a tie to school. In fact, the Bayyari Elementary kindergartener seems to enjoy it.

Students Participate in Renovation Project

Tanner Wilson, left, and Brandon Fulton, Greenland High School juniors, take a look at the plans for the renovation design for the former woodworking shop at the high school, which will become the area for the vocational agricultural program in the fall. A team of five students in the Greenland High School EAST lab have been working with architect Mark Herrmann in the renovation project. The students are looking at energy and water conservation issues in the remodel.
