Where I live: I live on the northeast side of Bella Vista. I think I probably have the only flat lot on the end of a cul de sac on the only flat street in Bella Vista. We love it. It’s perfect for our kids because they can ride their bikes. We’re tucked back in the woods, and there are only a few houses on our street. We’re kind of secluded, but we’re close enough to all the action in Bentonville and Rogers.

Occupation: Program coordinator for Drug Free Rogers-Lowell (ioit2me.com). That is our nonprofit division. We serve all of Benton County by partnering with businesses, schools and community organizations. Our mission is to reduce the demand for illegal and harmful substances in the workplace, home, school and community. We target tobacco, underage drinking, methamphetamines, marijuana and prescription drug abuse. We provide education to the community about these harmful substances.

My favorite space: My living room.

Why? I really love our big couch — and I think I love it more because it’s our family gathering place. We get to cuddle together and watch TV or movies. We get a chance to connect after a long, busy week. During the holiday season, we can enjoy watching holiday classics.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Have more natural light.
