FAYETTEVILLE — Police arrested six people Tuesday in connection with prostitution, according to a Fayetteville news release.

Fayetteville police Sgt. Craig Stout said detectives posing online as prospective clients apprehended the suspects at undisclosed hotels.

Stout said all charges are misdemeanor offenses.
