Public Discussion Set Thursday on Mental Health Issues

In the aftermath of the school shooting in Connecticut, Ozark Guidance will host an open forum discussion on mental health awareness, education and community concerns.

The discussion is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday at the Jones Center in Springdale.

Entitled “What’s on Your Mind,” the free program will include a panel of key Ozark Guidance personnel, including Tom Petrizzo, chief executive officer; Dr. Lance Foster, chief medical officer; Dr. Rob Gershon, chief clinical officer; and Lori Chalmers, associate clinical officer.

Ozark Guidance is the largest nonprofit community mental health center in Northwest Arkansas, annually providing services for more than 14,000 local residents including children, families and adults. Ozark Guidance has locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Huntsville and Berryville.
