63 apply to sell beer in 3 counties

When Arkansas’ Alcoholic Beverage Control division meets Jan. 16, it will consider 63 applications to sell beer in three counties that previously forbid the sale of alcohol — Benton, Madison and Sharp counties Voters in those counties approved alcohol sales for the first time since the 1940s on Nov. 6.
