Two Arrested, Accused of Home Invasion

— Police arrested two men in connection with a home invasion on Sycamore Street earlier this month. Both were out on bond after being arrested in connection with a home invasion in November.

Charles Glover, 34, of 1753 Shamblin, Apt. 4A, faces felony charges in connection with aggravated residential burglary, engaging in violent group activity, theft of property and kidnapping.

Charles Jackson, 25, of 811 S.E. Court faces felony charges of aggravated residential burglary, aggravated robbery, engaging in violent group activity and kidnapping.

A robbery was reported at 8:35 p.m. Dec. 5 at 775 W. Sycamore St., No. 33.

According to an arrest report, four men forced their way into the residence and held four occupants at gunpoint. They searched the residence for marijuana and money, but only took cash.

Police said the witnesses identified two of the men in a photo lineup as Glover and Jackson.

According to the report, Glover and Jackson were arrested Nov. 10 in connection with an armed home invasion.

They were released from the Washington County Detention Center on bond in late November.

On Tuesday, Jackson and Glover were being held on $100,000 bond.

Police said additional arrests are possible and the investigation is ongoing.
