Texas A&M’s Manziel adds to award haul

Texas A&M freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel, already the winner of the Heisman Trophy and the Davey O’Brien Award, was named The Associated Press’ Player of the Year on Tuesday.

Johnny Manziel ran for almost 1,700 yards and 30 touchdowns as a dual-threat quarterback his senior year of high school at Kerrville (Texas) Tivy.
