School Shootings Multiply

While waiting for the taping of “Arkansas Week” to begin Friday morning on the AETN set at Conway, I checked my iPhone just prior to turning it off and received an Associated Press bulletin about a school shooting in Connecticut. There were no details, but the phrase “school shooting” is always chilling.

Well, I think we do.
Here are just some of the ways.
*Reinstate the ban on assault rifles.
*Tighten up ID laws for gun purchases, so they cover gun shows and online sales. Forty % of gun purchases don't get IDed.
*Educate the public and regulate the excessive amounts of psychoactive medications that are being given to children, which can create more psychological problems than they solve.
