Bella Vista Now A City, Not A Village

The Bella VIsta POA seems to be at it again.

The latest plan is to increase the lease price of the fire stations and police department building an insane amount. This must have been thought up by the same geniuses who wanted to resell theroad department vehicles to the city when the road department was transferred.

The reasoning is that these assets were purchased by the “members” and they should be compensated for the value of these vehicles and buildings. Just who do they, the geniuses, think the citizens of Bella Vista are?

The very same “members” who they are trying to double dip. How many times are these assets going to be bought?

And while we are at it, how many governments does Bella Vista need. It is now a city, not a village, and should be led by a city government. The POAcould find a good fi t as the parks and recreation department of the city of Bella Vista. I think the only ones who can’t see that fact are the people who keep cooking up these schemes.
