N.C. State hires Badgers’ coordinator

New North Carolina State Coach Dave Doeren has hired Matt Canada as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Canada spent this season in the same position at Wisconsin under Bret Bielema, who left for Arkansas earlier this month. He went to Wisconsin after working under Doeren at Northern Illinois as offensive coordinator in 2011. He had worked at Indiana as an assistant for seven years before that. Wisconsin will face Stanford in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
