A Springdale man faces felony charges after deputies said he restrained his girlfriend in his car and intentionally crashed the vehicle.

There sounds like an attempted murder in this story. Luckily for the lady she is still alive and too bad the idiot mad man survived!

....well that does it! We need "car control" in this country! A full background check needs to be in place to protect society from crazies like above.

Good news! We do have all that. It's called a driver's license and insurance. Your insurance carrier will do a background check. A court can revoke your privilege of of operating a vehicle on public roadways.

guess we are assuming that they all have drivers license as well. It would be nice if vehicles had to have a drivers license swiped in a slot before they could start up similar to the alcoholics breathalizer interlock. You can pretty much bet that if they do not have a DL that they will not have insurance as well.

They had better close the private auto seller's loophole as well. Only licensed dealers should be able to sell these dangerous devices!

Can not be driven across state lines either. Cannot be carried without concealed carry permit.
