FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville man faces felony charges after being accused of molesting a 6-year-old girl, according to police.

William E. Estridge, 43, of 2575 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. was arrested in connection with felony rape.

Police received a hotline call from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children division a 7-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by Estridge when she was 6, according to a preliminary arrest report.

The girl said Estridge touched her inappropriately during a bath and Estridge admitted to touching her, according to police.

Estridge was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held Thursday without bond.
