  • ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTEMermaid Theatre visits arts center The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia will perform adaptations of Guess How Much I Love You and I Love My Little Story Book at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.

Guess How Much I Love You is based on the awardwinning classic by author Sam McBratney and illustrator Anita Jeram and features the characters Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare. I Love My Little Story Book was written and illustrated by Jeram and tells the story of a little bunny lying in the grass with his favorite book.

  • ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Symphony sets holiday concert The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas will host its Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.

The show will feature classic and contemporary Christmas music. Local vocalists Cassandra Hernandez and Toby Freeman, the SoNA Chorale and several choirs around the region are also scheduled to perform.
