The Natural Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society, a firefighters organization, will hold a fundraiser to benefit Bud Planchon Tuesday at On The Border, 577 N. 46th St., in Rogers.
Planchon retired in 2011 and was diagnosed with cancer he and officials in 33 other states believe can be linked to fumes firefighters breathe from diesel engines and from burning chemicals.
On the Border will donate 10 percent of their sales between the hours of 4 and 10 p.m., said Scott Mendham, a Rogers firefighter helping organize the event.
