Rwanda recovery focus of talk in LR

Patricia Crisafulli and Andrea Redmond will speak about Rwanda at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service on Tuesday in Little Rock.

The pair will discuss their book, Rwanda, Inc.: How a Devastated Nation Became an Economic Model for the Developing World, an in-depth look at Rwanda’s transformation into a rising economic star and why the model could work for other struggling democracies.

Crisafulli, a former business reporter for Reuters, is the author of several books,including the New York Times best-seller The House of Dimon, a profile of JPMorgan Chase Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon.

Redmond is a leadership and governance consultant who works with corporate boards, CEOs, Fortune 500 companies and private investors.

Those attending the noon to 1 p.m. lecture in Sturgis Hall can take along their lunches, and drinks will be provided. A book-signing will follow.
