100 YEARS AGO Dec. 9, 1912 It has been discovered that Homer Wilson, manager of the Hotel Marion, wears a pedometer. As Mr. Wilson is not an actor or in the show business and does not need to attract free advertising through the press, he has been frequently asked why he has strapped this metallic instrument to his ankle. Mr. Wilson last night modestly admitted he sometimes wears a pedometer, which he bought out of curiosity and to settle a bet.
