Dragons win on final play

Senior wide receiver Dorian Evans caught a 30-yard touchdown pass on the final play of the game to give Junction City a 27-26 victory over Bearden in the Class 2A state championship game Friday night at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Junction City wins 2A title on Hail Mary

Junction City's Shaquille Hunter threw up a Hail Mary pass with no time on the clock and Dorian Evans caught the ball on the tip to give the Dragons a 27-26 victory over Bearden and their third Class 2A state title in five years. (By David Harten)
