Trial of Former Principal Reset

— The trial of a former Farmington principal accused of choking a woman and killing his dog was reset Thursday.

Chris Webb faces charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, aggravated assault, third-degree domestic battery, resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The case was reset to Feb. 25 to allow time for a mental examination to be completed.

On July 19, police said they found a naked Webb choking his girlfriend in a bloody bathroom. Police also found a dead dog in the bathtub.
