Grisham’s Worldview Not Biblical

It is truly unfortunate, but not surprising, that the Rev. Lowell Grisham was chosen to “share a Christian perspective” on the Science and Religion panel discussion reported on Nov. 24. Pastor Grisham, I believe, represents a very liberal, social justice viewpoint, but not a true biblical worldview.

And, I’ve seen fellow panelist Mr. Krueger at several events advocating his atheistic, humanism religion.

Humanism is a religion-many believe the main religion of public schools.

I believe there are many false premises and logical fallacies presented by thesetwo men and Mr. Sydney Burns.

But the one I’ll mention here is the illogical question, “Is atheism more logical than religious thought?”

Pastor Grisham answered, “Yes, atheism is probably more logical than theism.” Krueger’s response: “It’s logic that led him to atheism.”

It becomes obvious that neither of these gentlemen really understand why we have the laws of logic or their source.

The question should have been, “Why are there laws of logic and what worldview can account for the laws of logic?”

Atheists do believe inthe laws of logic, but they cannot justify them within their worldview.

Laws of logic are immaterial, abstract, universal, invariant laws that can only make sense in a biblical worldview - reflections of God’s thinking because God himself is omnipresent, immaterial and invariant.

They cannot be accounted for or exist in a materialistic, atheistic universe.

Mr. Grisham and Mr.

Krueger, these laws are not material; therefore, I submit you are thinking irrationally.
