FAYETTEVILLE — A Washington County Circuit Count jury Wednesday afternoon found Sergio Hidalgo Andrade Martinez, 52, of Fayetteville, guilty of eight counts of attempted capital murder for shooting at police during a March standoff.

The jury went into sentencing deliberations just before 5 p.m.
