ROGERS — Volunteers are being sought to help wrap Christmas gifts Friday for some 200 senior adults.
Be a Santa to a Senior delivered more than 750 gifts to local needy seniors over the last eight years, according to a news release.
The area office of the Home Instead Senior Care network, the world’s largest provider of nonmedical in-home care and companionship services for older adults, is joining with community volunteers to provide gifts and companionship to seniors who otherwise might not receive either. Professionals can still recommend a senior to receive a gift.
Gift-wrapping will be from 9 a.m. to noon and from 3 to 6 p.m. at Home Instead’s office near Hobby Lobby in Frisco Station Mall.
