Ozark, Mo., broke open a close game with a 16-2 closing run as the Tigers defeated Rogers High 60-42 Saturday at the 48th annual Republic, Mo., Tournament.
Ozark led 23-21 at halftime and 44-40 with 5:44 left in the game. Ozark outrebounded the Mounties 48-13.
Hunter Hill led Rogers (2-3) with 18 points, while Zach Jones added seven and Zach Street six. Rogers returns to action Thursday when it faces Mount Vernon, Mo., at 7 p.m. in the Arvest Hoopfest at Rogers Heritage.
