The Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville will host performances of Billy Elliot the Musical Tuesday through Sunday.
Tickets cost $49-$73.
The musical is based on the hit 2000 film and features music by Elton John. The story follows a young, small-town boy as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into ballet class.
The musical is set in a coal-mining village in northern England during the 1984 coal miners’ strike.

Todd Bol, co-founder of the Little Free Library program, will host a workshop on how to start your own library at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Walker Community Room at the Fayetteville Public Library.
Little Free Library is a community program that promotes reading by constructing book exchange boxes where bibliophiles can share books. There are four little libraries in Fayetteville.
Readers can choose a book from the box and leave another one for the next reader who comes along. The workshop is free and open to the public.
