Jury seated, statements to begin in attempted murder trial

A jury has been seated in the attempted capital murder trial of a Fayetteville man who shot at police during a March standoff. Opening statements are set for 1 p.m.
Sergio Hidalgo Andrade, 52, of Fayetteville, faces eight counts of attempted capital murder, two counts of aggravated assault as well as drug and gun charges.
Andrade was arrested March 24 after a standoff that left Fayetteville police officer Blake Williamson with a gunshot wound to the leg. The injury required surgery.
