Murray's 47-yard touchdown in the first quarter gave the Bulldogs (1-0) the only score they would need. Springdale also added 14 points in each second and fourth quarter to down last season's Class 5A runner-up.
Springdale quarterback Will Whatley added 83 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
