FAYETTEVILLE — Improvement of three crosswalks on Dickson Street will begin today and continue through Sept. 12, according to city officials.
The city’s Transportation Division will work on two crosswalks at Gregg Avenue and one between Gregg and University avenues.
The work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
Work will require closing Dickson Street between West Avenue and University Avenue to traffic today. Residents of that area will be allowed access.
Work will require lane closing during the rest of the construction. The street will be opened to traffic at night and on weekends.
