FAVORITE MEAL Pizza. I got pepperoni and mushrooms with thin crust. I’ve never had a bad piece of pizza.

FAVORITE MOVIE Braveheart. I likethe underdog mentality, the guy that’s going to fight to the end of it. I love that movie.

FAVORITE MUSIC I like both kinds of music - country and western. Anything country is good. I like some of the old country - Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty - but I like the new country, too. Zac Brown. I like it all.

FAVORITE ACTOR Tom Hanks. I like all his movies. Big is the first one that sticks out to me. He’s unbelievable. He can play all kinds of roles. He’s pretty dang good.

FAVORITE ACTRESS I better not touch that one. I don’t want my wife to get jealous.

FAVORITE TV SHOW Sons of Anarchy. It’s on FX. It’s about a group of guys that have a loyalty to one another, a bond, a code of ethics. I really love that.

HOBBIES The only hobby I’ve got is probably not a good one to be talking about, but I do drive a Harley-Davidson. ... You’ve got to be careful on those motorcycles every time you go out.

DO YOU WEAR A HELMET? I do.

DOES YOUR WIFE RIDE WITH YOU? She does. She gets on the back. We’ll go up to Eureka Springs.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT COACHING DEFENSIVE TACKLES? It’s a unique position. It’s one of the easier positions schematically to learn what you’re doing. But it’s a technique-driven position, and I enjoy that part of it.

WHAT’S IT LIKE WORKING WITH JOHN L. SMITH? Coach Smith is great. He’s got a very good way about him. He demands respect, but at the same time you’re able to share your thoughts with him. He’s a very good administrator. The players love him, coaches love him, and he’s had a bunch of experience.
