100 YEARS AGO Aug. 14, 1912 PARAGOULD — The list of the legal voters of Greene county, which has just been prepared by County Clerk J.A. Edwards shows that out of the entire negro population of Greene county, about 35 when they are all here — only one negro is entitled to vote in the coming election. Bob Harris of this city, the father of 17 children — or about half of the negro population of the county — is the man entitled to this privilege.
