Man killed in Bentonville wreck

A Bentonville man was killed Sunday on U.S. 71 near Exit 88, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Robert P. Davis, 64, of Bentonville, was identified as the man killed. He was northbound in a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander was attempting a left-hand curve when the vehicle went off the road and struck a bridge support. The report said the vehicle then spun around, overturned and came to rest on its top.
Davis was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. The accident occurred at 4:55 a.m.
