Hogs improve to 2-0 in Italy

FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas overcame an early deficit and beat Atlatas Kaunas - a Lithuanian club team - 95-84 on Monday in Florence, Italy.
BJ Young led the Razorbacks with 16 points, while Rickey Scott (14), Michael Qualls (12) and Coty Clarke (10) also scored in double figures. Atlatas Kaunas had beaten recently Purdue and Georgia in exhibition games.
Atlatas Kaunas led 19-17 after the first quarter, but the Razorbacks took the lead for good in the second quarter en route to building a 47-39 halftime lead. Arkansas led by as many as 16 points in the second half.
The Razorbacks will face the same team again on Tuesday in Florence before their final game against All-Star Italy on Friday in Rome.
Arkansas improved to 2-0 in its four-game exhibition trip. The Razorbacks beat Amici del Campetto 129-89 on Sunday in Lake Como.
