Arkansas wins Italian opener

— Mardracus Wade scored 24 points to lead Arkansas to a 129-89 win over Amici del Campetto Select on Sunday in Lake Como, Italy.

Junior forward Coty Clarke added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Razorbacks, while BJ Young and Anthlon Bell added 10 points each.

Playing four 10-minute quarters with a 24-second shot clock, Arkansas raced to a 71-51 halftime lead and never trailed after the first quarter.

The game was the first of four exhibition games this week for the Razorbacks, which will play again Monday, and Tuesday in Florence, and Friday in Rome.
